Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Billing Specialist to support the billing team with accurate invoicing for transportation and waste shipments. The role interfaces with multiple departments, customers, and vendors to ensure timely, correct invoices.

Responsibilities include handling timekeeping, data entry, and responding to customer requests, while following SOPs and collaborating with the Billing Manager for coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or accounts payable (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes daily transactions and invoices for transportation and waste shipments.
• Ensures invoice accuracy and timeliness across departments, customers and vendors.
• Submits customer invoices via email, customer portal, or other delivery methods.
• Maintains timekeeping entries and notes regarding invoice status.
• Responds to customer requests for weights, manifests and invoice queries.
• Follows standard operating procedures and communicates pricing issues.
• Cross-trains with other Billing Specialists and Billing Manager for coverage.
