Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. is seeking a seasoned Returns Operations Manager to oversee daily returns activities across our North America distribution network in Texas.

You will lead staffing, schedules, and daily assignments to align with business priorities while ensuring accurate receipt, inspection, and processing of returned products. The role requires 5+ years in returns, warehouse, or logistics operations with people-management experience; bilingual English/Chinese; strong KPI focus; and proficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in returns, warehouse, electronics repair/refurbishment, manufacturing, or logistics operations with people-management.
• Strong knowledge of returns workflows, inventory control, quality standards and KPIs.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/WMS systems; led supervisors and temporary staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily returns operations and ensure all workflows run efficiently.
• Plan staffing, work schedules, and daily assignments based on business volume and priorities.
• Ensure returned products are received, inspected, tested, graded, processed, and recorded.
• Monitor KPIs, including productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, backlog, quality rate, attendance, and labor cost.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical process improvements.
• Ensure employees follow SOPs, quality standards, safety procedures, and policies.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage attendance and performance improvement plans.
• Review leaders' timekeeping for payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Control labor costs, overtime, expenses, and waste; maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve operational issues.
