Job summary

LG Electronics in the United States is seeking a Returns Authorization Manager to lead the end-to-end returns process in the consumer electronics division. You will partner with Customer Service, Logistics, Quality and Finance to optimize workflows, enforce policies, and deliver top-tier service.

With a minimum of five years in returns management, you will analyze trends, report on KPIs, and coach a dedicated team to reduce returns and improve product quality while aligning with warranty terms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in returns management, logistics, or supply chain operations within the consumer electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of returns authorization processes, warranty policies, and consumer electronics products.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to drive performance and motivate staff.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with ERP, CRM, or other relevant business systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end returns authorization process, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of service within the consumer electronics sector.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate processing of product returns.
• Partner with Customer Service, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams to ensure seamless and compliant returns operations.
• Analyze return data to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes; recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce return rates.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, warranty terms, and applicable industry regulations related to returns and exchanges.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on returns performance metrics, cost impact, and process effectiveness to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop the returns team, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to address product defects, manage warranty claims, and drive resolution of quality-related issues.
