Job summary

National Car Rental is hiring a Return Agent at Montgomery Airport (MGM) to provide friendly, efficient service during the rental car process. The role starts at $15 per hour and involves greeting customers, checking belongings, processing charges, and guiding customers to the terminal.

Workweek includes early morning shifts across Monday through Sunday. The position requires 18+ years old, US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of customer service experience,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of continuous customer service retail or administrative support experience.
• Current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers using prescribed dialogue as they arrive on the lot.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings and document any found items.
• Advise and review rental charges; provide an accurate receipt.
• Offer information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport Terminal.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue; seek feedback on service and satisfaction.
• Discreetly check vehicles for damage and direct customers for damage/loss reporting.
• Ensure vehicles are returned with a full tank of gas where applicable.
• Complete service alerts for mechanical or body damage reported by customers.
• Identify and tag vehicles on hold or for movement to proper lot locations.
• Keep the lot organized to maintain easy access and traffic flow.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; participate in ongoing training and goal setting.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
