National Car Rental at Harrisburg International Airport is hiring a Return Agent. You will provide friendly, efficient service during all stages of the rental process and handle vehicle returns, charges, and customer inquiries. This role includes a shift differential and potential monthly bonuses.

The position requires at least 1 year of customer service or related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work the listed schedule. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year prior customer service, retail, or administrative support experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the lot using prescribed dialogue.
• Check for personal belongings and log items for lost and found.
• Explain and review rental charges and provide an accurate receipt.
• Provide information about transportation to the airport terminal.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue.
• Inquire about service quality and document dissatisfaction.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage and direct to the counter for reports.
• Verify fuel level is full when returning a vehicle.
• Create a service alert for mechanical or body damage shared by customers.
• Identify and move vehicles on system holds to proper lot locations.
• Tag vehicles flagged for grounding or maintenance and move to proper lot locations.
• Maintain organized lots to improve access and traffic flow.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment and training.
