Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and committed to accuracy and accountability. Salary begins at $42,348 and benefits are extensive, including leave and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of clerical experience in an office environment with demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies and follow procedures.
• Experience in customer service by phone or in person.
• Experience with Windows-based computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Process retirement applications, rollover paperwork, tax withholding, EFTs and other forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Review documentation for errors, discrepancies, inconsistencies, and potential fraud indicators and escalate as needed.
• Provide information and forms to members and the public by phone, email, mail, and route questions to staff.
• Schedule virtual and telephone meetings with members and staff.
• Process returned mail and research/update contact information using available resources.
• Generate reports and workflows from the Pension Administration System to support operations.
