Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Manager in California to advise, service and retain clients with a strong understanding of qualified retirement plan benefits. The role involves coordinating plan renewals, preparing materials for new business presentations, and mentoring Retirement Analysts in census collection and enrollment activities.

Successful candidates will possess experience with 3–5 years in corporate retirement plan service, a bachelor’s degree, and relevant industry

Qualifications

• Must possess a strong understanding of Qualified Retirement plan benefits and providers, recognized by colleagues and clients.
• Three to five years of experience providing corporate retirement plan service at a brokerage or provider is preferred.
• Bachelor degree strongly preferred plus at least one financial/benefits industry designation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for Clients, Carriers and others on the Client Service Team.
• Review contracts, plan documents, and other legal documents for accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
• Assist to ensure client compliance with annual plan testing and Form 5500 filing procedures where applicable.
• Work with carrier representatives and Client Service Teams to implement new retirement plans smoothly.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with carriers, clients and teams.
• Present renewal and new business materials and financial measures used to predict costs and premiums.
