Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to deliver consultative service to partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors. You will demonstrate deep retirement plan knowledge, resolve complex issues, and coach others to meet client expectations.

The role requires collaboration with Relationship Managers and a focus on client retention and satisfaction. You will work to provide exceptional service, maintain strong client relationships, and coordinate across departments to deliver solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience required, retirement services industry preferred.
• Certification (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation, etiquette, client service and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.
• Experience with financial services systems and plan recordkeeping.
• Ability to travel and lead a team or project.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor associates to ensure client expectations are met.
• Manage escalated items and coordinate with Relationship Manager.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals.
• Achieve service levels, growth and retention for assigned book of business.
• Proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks with clients.
