Job summary

Ascensus is expanding its Client Services team to provide expert guidance on retirement plans to partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors. The Client Services Consultant will leverage retirement plan knowledge to resolve complex issues and deliver consultative service, partnering with Relationship Managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1–3 years direct client experience.
• Certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with financial services systems and plan recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel); Access/PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor team members and collaborate with the Relationship Manager.
• Identify and document client issues and resolve them with proactive research and solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals and communicate service updates.
