Job summary

Ascensus seeks a Client Services Consultant to deliver expert retirement plan guidance and proactive service to partners and sponsors in a fast-paced environment. You will work with Relationship Managers to resolve complex plan issues, share best practices, and ensure client satisfaction across multiple accounts.

The role requires solid knowledge of retirement plans, strong communication and collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to drive value-added consulting while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-3 years direct client experience preferred in retirement services.
• ASPPA/CEBS certification or progress toward is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.
• Strong presentation, etiquette, client service and time management.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and sponsors.
• Serve as a knowledge resource on retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor peers and contribute to team success.
• Manage client issues, document actions, and provide solutions.
• Communicate status and updates to clients and internal teams.
• Develop relationships with financial professionals and plan sponsors.
