Job summary

Ascensus, the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America, seeks a Client Services Consultant to deliver consultative service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors. You will demonstrate retirement plan knowledge and provide solutions while partnering with Relationship Managers to ensure client satisfaction.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities, with a focus on service levels, growth and retention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience; retirement services preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.
• Excellent presentation skills and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with recordkeeping systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans, ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to Ascensus partners and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate retirement plans knowledge and deliver solutions to complex issues.
• Coach and mentor others in retirement plan and client relations.
• Monitor items, document actions, and resolve issues for clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals.
• Meet service levels, growth and retention goals for assigned book.
