Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative to develop new clients and expand the Paychex retirement plan and FSA product footprint. You will engage decision makers, present solutions, and close deals, with travel as needed and ongoing opportunity for professional advancement.

You will contribute to a high-energy sales team, navigate complex client needs, and grow the Paychex footprint in the HR services space through strong relationship building and strategic discovery.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma - Required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in Relevant Paychex experience and successful completion of required training programs and/or certification by senior sales management.
• 2 years of experience in Relevant sales/sales management.

Responsibilities

• Presents all retirement plan and flexible spending account products and services to final decision makers and end users to close new sales.
• Schedules appointments and visits potential and current referral sources to secure referrals.
• Prospects via telephone, mail, seminars and other marketing programs to grow the client base.
• Analyzes prospects’ needs and determines appropriate products, referring to the right party when needed.
• Expedites resolution of client problems to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Completes new business paperwork and enters notes into Salesforce.com for seamless selling and service.
• Projects a positive image to uphold Paychex’s reputation with clients and the community.
• Develops technical and sales skills; completes SAFE examinations and participates in training to become a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative.
• May travel outside geographic territory for conferences or trainings.
