Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative to develop new clients and increase market share for our HR services across the United States. This remote role emphasizes presenting retirement plan solutions, leveraging a Go-to-M market strategy, and coordinating with financial advisor channels.

The position requires some sales experience and the ability to travel as needed for conferences and trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in relevant Paychex experience and completion of required training programs and/or certification by senior sales management.
• 2 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management.

Responsibilities

• Presents all retirement plan and flexible spending account products and services to final decision makers and end users to close new sales.
• Schedules appointments and visits with potential and current referral sources, especially financial advisor channels, to secure referrals.
• Prospects via telephone, direct mail, seminars, client visits, or other local marketing programs to seek new clients and referrals.
• Analyzes prospects' needs and interests to determine appropriate products and refer to the right party when needed.
• Expedites resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Completes new business paperwork and expense reports by dates set by Sales management; enters prospects, sales, and client notes into Salesforce.
• Projects a positive image to uphold Paychex's reputation with clients and the community.
• Develops technical and sales skills; completes SAFE examinations and participates in training; may become a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative.
• May be required to travel outside geographical territory for conferences or trainings.
