Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group in New York, NY (hybrid) seeks a Regional Sales Director for retirement plan sales to lead a large territory, develop relationships with plan sponsors, and drive growth. You will meet with sponsors of 401k/403b plans, cross-sell products, and manage top client reviews with CRM teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside business-to-business sales experience.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b plans).
• Driven to make outbound cold calls into prospective clients.
• Demonstrated cold calling sales ability.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently.
• Strong relationship management building skills.
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE.
• Driving is an essential function of this position with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory, uncovering new sources of business.
• Meeting with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b retirement plans through multiple strategies.
• Cross-sell solutions and reach/exceed goals by closing deals.
• Attend client review meetings with CRM for top clients to secure referrals.
