Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Regional Sales Director for Retirement Plan Sales to cover Southern NJ, PA, MD, or DC. The role focuses on growing a large territory, building relationships with Plan Sponsors of 401k/403b plans, and cross-selling to meet or exceed targets.

The position requires 5+ years in B2B sales, knowledge of retirement products, and active FINRA licenses; a driver's license is required due to travel across client locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside business-to-business sales experience.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b).
• Driven to make outbound cold calls.
• Demonstrated cold calling sales ability.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently.
• Strong relationship management building skills.
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE.
• Driving is an essential function; a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory and uncover new sources of business.
• Meet with Plan Sponsors of retirement plans through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Cross-sell solutions and exceed goals within a geographic territory.
• Attend client review meetings and serve as a reference for sales opportunities.
