Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead retirement plan sales across an assigned territory. You will drive new business and cross-sell products, meeting with plan sponsors and leveraging referrals to grow the portfolio.

The role emphasizes outbound prospecting, strategic thinking, and strong relationship management, with a base salary and uncapped quarterly commissions. A valid driver’s license is required to visit client sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience with proven prospecting and territory management.
• Knowledge of 401k and 403b retirement products.
• Willingness to make outbound cold calls to prospective clients.
• Proven ability to conduct effective presentations and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large sales territory in the assigned region.
• Engage Plan Sponsors of retirement plans and cross-sell other Mutual of America products.
• Meet or exceed sales targets through multiple strategies and referrals.
• Attend client reviews with CRM to secure introductions and sales opportunities.
