Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive retirement plan sales in a multi-state territory. This role focuses on new group takeovers and cross-selling our products to plan sponsors.

You will leverage a strong network, manage relationships, and guide prospects from initial contact through closing, while reporting to the Regional Vice President and contributing to a high-energy sales team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside business-to-business sales experience with proven efficiency in selling, presenting, prospecting, and territory management.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b plans).
• Driven to make outbound cold calls into prospective clients.
• Demonstrated cold calling sales ability.
• Ability to effectively communicate and think strategically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory, uncovering new sources of business.
• Meet with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b retirement plans through multiple strategies.
• Cross-sell solutions and reach/exceed goals by closing deals.
• Attend client review meetings with the CRM for the top clients in the territory to secure references and opportunities.
