Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations for defined contribution plans across Louisiana and surrounding areas. Travel as needed is required to support relationships with plan sponsors and stakeholders.

The role focuses on driving enrollment, deferrals and rollovers, with reporting and collaboration across the Relationship Management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience accepted
• 2–4 years in financial services
• Strong presentation skills required
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams proficiency required
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required within timelines
• FINRA fingerprinting required

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate on-site and virtual education presentations
• Drive plan enrollment deferrals and rollovers
• Meet service level agreements and achieve business results
• Complete reporting requirements and log meetings/outcomes
• Build relationships with plan sponsors and stakeholders
• Manage meeting schedules and travel bookings
• Provide feedback on materials and strategies to local managers
• Attend client meetings with service team members
• Participate in finals presentations for new prospects as needed
