Job summary

Empower Retirement is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations across defined contribution plans. You will leverage Empower’s technology to drive enrollment and deferrals, while supporting the Relationship Management team in building stakeholder relationships within the territory.

The role requires travel within Louisiana and surrounding areas, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and FINRA registrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
2 - 4 years relevant financial services experience.
Strong presentation skills required.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams required.
Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within established timelines required.
FINRA fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations to defined contribution plan participants.
Assist Relationship Management in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the territory.
Travel as needed within Louisiana and surrounding areas.
Log meetings, attendees and outcomes in appropriate systems.
Meet service level agreements and drive plan enrollment and deferral increases.
