Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment for 401(k)/403(b)/457 plans across Northern California and Pacific Northwest regions. The role is hybrid with travel and collaboration with relationship management to engage plan sponsors and stakeholders.

You will facilitate meetings, track outcomes, and support clients through enrollment, deferrals, and rollovers while aligning with service level agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered.
• 2 – 4 years relevant financial services experience.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams required.
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within established timelines required.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate education strategies through on-site and virtual presentations.
• Drive participants to take actions like enrollment and deferral increases.
• Meet service level agreements and achieve business results.
• Complete reporting, logging meetings and outcomes in systems.
• Build relationships with contacts, sponsors and stakeholders in the territory.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel arrangements.
• Provide feedback to relationship managers on materials and strategies.
• Attend client meetings with service teams.
• Participate in finals presentations for new prospects as needed.
