Job summary

Empower is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment sessions for defined contribution plans across Louisiana and nearby areas. You will leverage Empower’s technology to drive enrollment, deferral increases and rollovers, while supporting the Relationship Management team with key stakeholders.

Based in the Louisiana territory with travel as needed, you’ll build strong contacts with plan sponsors and internal teams, manage schedules, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant financial services experience.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations within established timelines.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies via virtual and on-site group meetings.
• Drive participants to enroll, increase deferrals and perform rollovers.
• Meet service levels and achieve business results.
• Complete reporting on meetings, attendees and outcomes.
• Build relationships with plan sponsors, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel arrangements.
• Provide feedback on communication materials and strategies.
• Attend client meetings with service teams.
• May participate in finals presentations for new prospects.
