Outlook Therapeutics is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager to lead payer strategies for retina and ophthalmology in the Mid-Atlantic/DMV. You’ll partner with senior leadership to build access programs that support US commercial launch and reimbursement policy awareness.

You’ll own a defined territory, educate practices on coverage, manage prior authorizations and appeals, and analyze denials with the team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in reimbursement, access, patient services, or related field in pharma/biotech.
• At least 2 years in field reimbursement.
• Experience navigating Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer coverage.
• Experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, claims support, and the appeals process.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build trust with office staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field reimbursement resource for practice admins and staff.
• Educate on payer coverage policy and billing/coding.
• Guide prior-authorization and appeals process.
• Connect practices to patient-support resources.
• Own a defined retina/ophthalmology territory and build trust.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and analyze reimbursement performance.
• Monitor denials trends and remediate with targeted plans.
• Coordinate with Sales for consistent messaging.
