Job summary

Outlook Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager for the Northeast region. This field-based role in the U.S. requires 50–70% travel within NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, and ME.

Reports to Sr. Director, Patient Access & National Field Reimbursement; full-time with no direct reports. You will serve as the reimbursement and access expert for retina and ophthalmology practices, building payer playbooks and supporting a US launch readiness.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in reimbursement, market access, patient services, or related field.
• At least 2 years of field reimbursement experience.
• Experience navigating Medicare (including MACs), Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial payer coverage.
• Proficiency with benefit verification, prior authorization, claims support, and appeals.
• Ability to use claims data to identify denial trends and barriers.

Responsibilities

• Educate practices on payer coverage policy and coding; prior authorization requirements; and documentation.
• Own a defined retina/ophthalmology territory; build trust as the first reimbursement call.
• Lead quarterly business reviews; analyze reimbursement performance and denial trends; create action plans.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure consistent, compliant messaging; monitor denial patterns and assign remediation plans.
