Job summary

Outlook Therapeutics is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager for a field-based role in the U.S. with 50–70% travel. You will educate practices on payer coverage, manage reimbursements, and lead account reviews to drive the US launch of our ophthalmic therapy.

Ideal candidates have deep payer experience, strong communication, CRM and Excel skills, and the ability to partner with leadership across teams. Travel and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of reimbursement, market access, patient services or related pharma field.
• At least 2 years of dedicated field reimbursement experience.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial payer coverage.
• Experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, claims support and appeals.
• Strong verbal and written communication; build trust with office staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field reimbursement resource for practice administrators, billing staff, and clinical teams.
• Educate on payer coverage policy, HCPCS/CPT/J-codes, ICD-10, and prior-authorization requirements.
• Guide practices through prior-authorization and appeals process, clarifying payer requirements.
• Connect practices to patient-support resources when case requires assistance.
• Own defined territory of retina/ophthalmology accounts and build trusted relationships.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and analyze reimbursement performance for each account.
• Monitor denials and find proactive solutions; coordinate with Sales for consistent messaging.
