Job summary

Outlook Therapeutics, Inc. in the United States is seeking a seasoned reimbursement and market access professional to lead field activities for a defined retina/ophthalmology territory. You will educate practices, manage payer coverage and prior authorizations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable a successful U.S.

launch. You will analyze claims data, monitor denials, and drive proactive access strategies while partnering with sales and Patient Services to ensure consistent

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of combined experience in reimbursement, market access, patient services, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience navigating Medicare/Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer coverage.
• Experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, claims support, and the appeals process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field reimbursement resource for practice administrators, billing/coding staff, and clinical teams.
• Educate office staff on payer coverage policy, medical-benefit billing and coding (HCPCS/CPT/J-codes, ICD-10, modifiers).
• Guide practices through prior-authorization and appeals processes and connect them to patient-support resources.
• Own a defined territory of retina/ophthalmology accounts and build trust as the first reimbursement contact.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, analyze reimbursement performance and denial trends, and plan improvements.
• Monitor denials and access friction, and coordinate with Sales for consistent messaging.
