Outlook Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement & Access expert to drive payer strategy for a US launch. You will manage a defined retina/ophthalmology territory, educate practices on coverage and coding, and partner with Sales for consistent messaging.

The role requires 5–10 years in reimbursement/market access with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer experience, plus strong analytics and CRM skills. Travel is 50–75% within the territory.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of combined experience in reimbursement, market access, patient services, or related field within pharma or healthcare.
• Hands-on experience navigating Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer coverage.
• Experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, claims support, and appeals process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field reimbursement resource for practices and staff.
• Educate staff on payer coverage, billing, coding, and prior-authorization requirements.
• Guide practices through prior-authorization and appeals processes.
• Coordinate with sales for consistent messages and plan follow-up actions.
• Own defined territory and build trust as the first call for reimbursement issues.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and analyze denial trends to improve performance.
• Monitor accounts for early warning signs and address access friction.
