Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at Pinnacle Hills Promenade to support the store manager in daily operations and guest experience. You will coach Bear Builders, manage schedules, and ensure brand-aligned merchandising and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and achieving store objectives through effective teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

2+ years of store management experience in a customer-centric retail environment.
High school diploma required.
Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time/attendance systems.
2–4 years of store management experience preferred in specialty retail.
Associate's degree in business, management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in assigning daily tasks and managing staff priorities.
Assist in hiring decisions and providing feedback on applicant selection and staff advancement.
Lead shifts, enforce policies, and address violations; support store security and cash handling.
Drive sales as Floor Leader by coaching team and delivering a guest experience that reflects the Experience First culture.
Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and maintain an inviting store environment.
Oversee inventory processes including receiving, stocking, and counts; develop a high-performing team.
