Job summary

Build-A-Bear is seeking an Assistant Manager at Concord Mills to support the Store Manager in daily operations, guest service, and staff management. You will help execute sales and marketing strategies, lead shifts, and uphold brand standards to deliver an exceptional Guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in store management or supervisory role in retail
• Strong guest service orientation and leadership skills
• Experience with store technology (POS, scheduling, HRIS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily staff assignments and supervision
• Support hiring, promotion decisions and performance feedback
• Lead shifts, uphold policies, and maintain security and safety standards
• Drive sales by coaching team to deliver an exceptional Guest experience
• Ensure merchandising displays meet brand standards and are inviting
• Oversee inventory processes including receiving, stocking, and counts
• Develop a high-performing team focused on Guest satisfaction and results
