Job summary

IKEA is hiring for a temporary/seasonal, part-time warehouse associate in Elizabeth, NJ. You will help fulfill customer orders, receive and stock goods, and prep products for shelves while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Flexibility in shifts from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM is required, with an hourly rate of $23.23 to $32.82 and background/drug checks as conditions of employment. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to IKEA culture, and a focus on customer experience through accurate replenishment

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in high-volume warehouse/logistics or receiving/replenishment.
• Strong attention to inventory accuracy and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support order fulfillment across multiple channels by ensuring product availability and replenishment.
• Receive inbound goods and verify inventory accuracy at receipt.
• Move products to storage or picking locations and assist on the shop floor.
• Perform shelf replenishment following visual merchandising guidance.
• Select goods for customers within agreed timeframes to ensure excellent service.
• Certify powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handle goods through unloading, transport, replenishment, stocking, picking and loading.
• Operate scanners and inventory management tools to track stock.

What you'll be doing day to day

• Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.
• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.

JOB TYPE – Temporary/Seasonal, Part-Time (Approximately 3 months)
HOURS – 12-20 hours per week. Must have complete availability working from Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 5:00AM to 10:00PM.
The hourly rate pay range for this role is $23.23 - $32.82
The successful candidate will be required to complete and pass background check and a drug test as a condition of employment for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in high volume warehouse/logistics or receiving/replenishment.
• Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.
