IKEA is hiring a Warehouse Associate for Sunday to Wednesday, 4:00pm to 2:30am in Perryville, MO. The role focuses on picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storage to meet customer demand.

You will contribute to efficient DC operations and safety while supporting overall team goals. The position requires at least 1 year of related experience, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and store items with focus on customer availability.
• Handle inbound/outbound goods and ensure safe movement within the DC.
• Unload goods, secure merchandise, and document damages.
• Contribute to warehouse operations goals and support daily workload planning.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

What you'll be doing day to day

• Reach excellence in the daily running of different parts of the DC Operations by assuming major responsibility for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing with the customer in focus.
• Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of the goods. Contribute with ideas and inputs to the agreed goals of the action plan in the daily work.
• Effectively unload and handle inbound/outbound goods. Secure merchandise properly to allow for safe movement through the distribution center.
• Contribute to the overall warehouse operations goals setting, drive the implementation of local business plans/projects and analyze existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal fluctuation needs.
• Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects assigned, where applicable.

The pay rate for this role is: $19.00
