Job summary

IKEA is hiring for a Temporary/Seasonal, Part-Time warehouse position in New Jersey. Expect 12–20 hours per week with shifts Mon–Sun between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Hourly pay ranges from $23.23 to $32.82. A background check and drug test may be required.

Role involves picking, packing, replenishment, and inventory handling in a fast-paced store environment. Positive attitude and reliability are essential for excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in high volume warehouse/logistics or receiving/replenishment.
  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to fulfillment of customer orders across sales channels in the store, ensuring availability and replenishment.
  • Receive inbound goods and verify inventory accuracy at receiving.
  • Move products to final selling locations, both in storage and on the floor.
  • Perform sales space replenishment following visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Select goods for customers within the agreed time frame to ensure a great experience.
  • Operate powered equipment and inventory management tools/IT systems.

What you'll be doing day to day
  • Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.
  • Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
  • Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
  • Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
  • Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
  • Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
  • Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

JOB TYPE – Temporary/Seasonal, Part-Time (Approximately 3 months)

HOURS – 12-20 hours per week. Must have complete availability working from Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 5:00AM to 10:00PM.

The hourly rate pay range for this role is $23.23 - $32.82
