Job summary

IKEA in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment and inventory integrity across multiple sales channels. You will receive goods, move stock to storage or floor locations, and replenish shelves while following visual merchandising guidance.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack certification, strong customer service, and availability for weekend shifts. You will operate scanners and IT systems to ensure accurate stock and fast service.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
  • Move product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
  • Perform sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Select goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
  • Certify all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Handle goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
  • Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
  • Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

What you'll be doing day to day

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Part-time, Hourly Associate, 18+
HOURS – From 12 to 19 hours per week (HL1) // Limited Benefits
SHIFTS– Seeking work schedule availability of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as a minimum requirement. Work schedules are published one month in advance.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.96 USD to 22.95 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
