Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Schaumburg, IL to support the fulfillment of customer orders across channels. The role involves receiving goods, moving inventory, replenishment, and assisting customers with product selection.

The position requires operating powered equipment, using scanners and IT systems, and maintaining accurate stock levels while upholding IKEA culture and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience handling inbound goods and inventory control.
• Ability to operate powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Retail store stocking, replenishment, and order picking experience.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
• Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

What you'll be doing day to day

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

JOB TYPE - Permanent, Full-Time, Hourly Associate, 18+
HOURS - From 34-40 hours per week (HL3) // Benefits Eligible
SHIFTS –This role is in a retail environment, so evening and weekend availability will be required to support store operations and our customers.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.96 USD to 22.95 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
