Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF TULSA INC is seeking a Retail Trainer in Tulsa, OK to ensure consistent execution of retail operations across store locations through standardized onboarding, training, and certifications.

You will develop and deliver programs for Retail Associates, Assistant Managers, and Store Managers, align with SOPs and safety standards, and validate training effectiveness with regular assessments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and leadership/retail experience.
Minimum two years of training and development experience, preferably in retail.
Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver standardized onboarding and training programs for staff and managers.
Facilitate instructor-led, hands-on, virtual, and on-the-job training using adult learning principles.
Train on SOPs, customer service standards, safety, merchandising, donation processing, and cash handling.
Conduct certification and recertification activities to validate competency and store compliance.
Assess training effectiveness and document completion, certifications, and validation records.
Identify training gaps and provide coaching and corrective training to improve consistency.
Partner with store leaders to plan training needs and staff development.
Develop, update, and maintain training materials, job aids, guides, and resources.
Support rollout of new SOPs, processes, systems, and programs.
