Job summary

Toast is expanding from its POS platform into the Toast Retail platform, and we are seeking a Retail Account Executive to join a founding team guiding this new vertical. You will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new accounts across convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops in the assigned U.S.

market. You will conduct demos, tailor solutions, and collaborate with teams to ensure delivery meets expectations.

• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills; able to sell at all decision levels.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals in a sales environment.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
• Generate lists of prospects and manage full sales cycle from initial call to close
• Conduct demos and tailor a solution to prospect needs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets sales expectations
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities
• Understand competitive landscape and position Toast in the market
