Job summary

Michaels in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Store Team Member to help customers shop, find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, restocking, and maintaining shelves to meet brand standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with BOPIS/SFS, promoting rewards and private label cards, and upholding safety and SOPs while delivering excellent customer service in a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves with a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram maintenance (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance to stay well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Support store in stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; be a positive role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
