Job summary

The Paper Store in Lynnfield, MA is hiring an Assistant Team Leader to deliver world class service and lead a high-performing team. The role includes payroll management, staff training, visual standards, and upholding company policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will report to the Store Team Leader and help drive sales, maintain visual excellence, and ensure operational compliance. Previous specialty retail management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in specialty retail management is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to and lead change.
• Ability to create a team environment through positive leadership.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as a TPS Champion by modeling the G.U.E.S.T. service approach and delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome customers warmly.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Suggest additional items to increase sales using effective selling techniques.
• Build customer loyalty with friendly, attentive service.
• Inspire and motivate the team with positive feedback and TPS recognition.
• Manage payroll and training staff in all store areas.
• Open and close the store and manage store operations.
