Job summary

Walmart in Memphis, TN is seeking a leader to supervise hourly associates, hire, train, mentor and promote a culture of belonging. You will set expectations, recognize performance, and guide teams through store operations and customer service initiatives.

You will drive financial performance by overseeing P&L items, budgeting, and inventory processes while maintaining high service standards and utilizing Open Door policies to foster integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring of associates; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; providing associate recognition; promoting a culture of belonging.
• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; implementing business solutions.
• Drives store performance through budgeting, merchandising, and operational excellence; ensures customer needs are met and service standards are high.
