Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store supervisor to oversee hourly associates, hire and train staff, mentor teams, and promote a culture of belonging. You will supervise activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive execution of store initiatives to meet sales and customer service goals.

Responsibilities include leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service, implementing improvements, and supporting company values and ethics.

Qualifications

• Two years of college; OR one years retail experience and one years supervisory experience.
• Facilities that sell firearms may require a firearms background check and state-specific certifications.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting belonging.
• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; communicate store operations and company direction.
• Ensure high quality customer service and resolve issues following OBW; drive process improvements and change initiatives.
