Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) beneficial.
• Clear and precise direction to team members required.
• Ability to analyze financial information and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Manage P&L and shrink for the department.
• Ensure safe, friendly and efficient customer service.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to standards.
• Demonstrate Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and actions.
