Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a production leadership role overseeing donation processing, inventory control, and staff coordination. You will ensure smooth operations, deliver excellent donor service, and maintain safety and quality standards across processing activities.

The role involves supervising donation attendants, processors, and sales staff, with responsibilities in scheduling, reporting time/attendance, and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6+ months of supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read and comprehend internal store documents.
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and ensures a smooth production process for all donation functions, inventory, control, and adherence to procedures and core values.
• Fulfills duties of production staff to provide excellent customer service to donors, unload donations, complete receipts, and process items.
• Enforces store safety and security procedures.
• Assists in settling complaints and provides input for interviews and performance evaluations.
• Maintains production levels and quality of merchandise for sales floor.
