Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Memphis to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive sales, coach associates, and ensure a welcoming, well‑ merchandised store aligned with Lids standards.

You’ll oversee scheduling, training, cash handling, and inventory processes, while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that motivates the team to achieve goals and deliver memorable fan experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales while preventing loss.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when the Store Manager is away.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS Training Programs and set sales goals.
• Maintain store operations, guest services, and product standards.
• Manage cashier tasks, till opening/closing, and cash handling.
• Support inventory counts, backroom organization, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
