Job summary

The role requires 2–3 years of retail experience and at least 1 year in a leadership position. Rotating through departments and strong communication are key to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Experience rotating through store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) or related customer service/product flow.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations.
• Serve as mentor and coach for team members.
• Improve customer service and drive store sales while meeting customer needs.
• Maintain store appearance and presentation to company standards, focusing on prime hours.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs; ensure training compliance.
• Lead succession planning and participate in promotion decisions as appropriate.
• Manage disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations when necessary.
• Oversee P&L, shrink control, and overall department performance.
