Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store Manager-level candidate to lead daily operations across multiple departments in Michigan. You will supervise staff, drive sales, manage P&L, and uphold company standards while ensuring outstanding customer service and a safe, engaging shopping environment.

You will mentor team members, coordinate staffing and training, and implement strategies to optimize performance and shrink. This role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and adherence to Meijer policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store (meat, bakery, produce, deli) and customer service experience.
• Strong communication with team members and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information to inform decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership in maintaining safe work practices and mentoring staff.
