Job summary

Bath & Body Works, a leading fragrance and personal care brand, is seeking a store Supervisor in the Cleveland area. You will partner with the Store Manager to develop associates, deliver consistent customer experiences, and drive growth through leadership and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and leading the team to achieve selling goals, opening/closing routines, and maintaining store standards. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrive in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the Store Manager including acting as Manager on Duty to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through displaying selling behaviors and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs and making personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
