Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Syracuse, NY seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. This full-time, non-exempt role requires hands-on leadership in a busy retail environment and a passion for sports fashion.

You will supervise staff, train associates, and act as manager on duty when the Store Manager isn’t present, while upholding company visual standards and loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising store operations and staff.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver customer service.
• Knowledge of store policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc.
• Manage store staff and training programs.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain cash handling and POS accuracy.
• Organize backroom and inventory counts.
