Job summary

Lids Sports Group is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Buffalo to lead daily store performance, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will act as Manager on duty, supervise crew, and ensure adherence to company policies while maintaining a fun, inclusive work environment.

You will drive sales, optimize operations, handle inventory and cash, and participate in hiring and training efforts to support a premier retail experience for fans and teammates alike.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline, including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and customer service excellence.
