Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking experienced TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support in-person, acting as a trusted advisor to the local community.

The role emphasizes growing the TurboTax client base, engaging with customers, and delivering a best-in-class experience. You must reside in the United States and be comfortable in a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 1040s with professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and optimize deductions.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize refunds and plan futures.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Engage with clients in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Address inquiries and help clients overcome tax-related challenges.
