Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to join on-site at retail or flagship locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, advise customers, and act as a community ambassador, helping people navigate tax needs.

The role emphasizes local outreach, strong knowledge of tax rules, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Must be licensed and able to work 20+ hours weekly, including weekends, in a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA/CPA/attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes under law.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses/certificates/permits/bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 tax practice requirements.
• Available to work onsite at TurboTax retail/flagship locations, including weekends.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimise refunds.
• Utilise government resources and team expertise for accurate tax solutions.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experiences and build long-term client relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools; address inquiries.
