Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Retail Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support to individuals and small businesses, while growing the local client base through community engagement.

You’ll collaborate with a team of tax professionals, leverage TurboTax tools, and help customers achieve favorable outcomes. This is a non-exempt, front-facing role requiring at least 20 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Lead discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and build long-term trust with clients.
